General terms and conditions
The general terms and conditions of the CatWall online store are drawn up in accordance with:
- The Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1),
- The Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2) and
- The Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2).
These General Terms and Conditions of Business define the operation of the CatWall website, the rights and obligations of the user and the online store, as well as the business relationship between the buyer and the online store.
Every user who becomes our customer is bound by these General Terms and Conditions of Business. Before placing an order, the customer is informed of these terms and conditions, and by submitting the order, they agree to them.
We reserve the right to change the general terms and conditions of business without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the website www.catwall.eu/terms.
Service provider identification
The CatWall online store is operated by Gregor Flajs s.p., Zgornja Kungota 25, 2201 Zgornja Kungota, registration number: 7121482000, tax number: SI33884269, trade register entry number: 204801. We are subject to VAT.
Information accessibility
We undertake to provide each visitor with all of the following information prior to a binding purchase contract:
- information about the company that operates the CatWall website (name, company headquarters, registration number, tax number, etc.),
- contact information in a visible place that allows the user to quickly establish communication via email,
- information about the availability of products in the online store and the possibility of subscribing to electronic notifications when products are back in stock for products out of stock,
- described product features in the online store,
- clearly stated sales prices including VAT,
- precisely specified payment methods
- the necessary conditions for sending the ordered products must be met (the amount paid in full on the received pro forma invoice or direct payment by credit card),
- delivery conditions for ordered products (delivery method, selected delivery service, country of delivery, delivery time, delivery price),
- explanation of the procedure and deadline within which it is possible to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason and definition of the conditions that must be met,
- explanation of the procedure and deadline within which it is possible to assert non-conformity of goods (material defect) and definition of the conditions that must be met.
User types
Browsing the content and shopping on the CatWall website is possible for both unregistered and registered users.
Upon registration, an unregistered user provides their name, email address, and password. A user profile is created, which can be deleted at any time.
Product offering
We are engaged in the handmade production of furniture for cats that spend at least part of their time indoors. The sales offer also includes cat beds and toys; the remainder of the products is intended for cat lovers and includes simpler textile products with cat motifs.
The sales offer published in the CatWall online store is valid for the duration of the publication or until stocks are sold out.
Cat furniture: individual components of the final products are ordered from domestic and foreign suppliers. The final processing of the wooden parts of the furniture and the assembly into final products are done manually in Slovenia.
Textile products (hammocks for cat furniture, cat toys and beds, other textile products with cat motifs): all materials are sourced and sewn in Slovenia.
Product labels
NEW
Products in the online store that are in stock and have been added for sale in the last month have a "NEW" label in the upper left corner of their images.
OUT OF STOCK
Products in the online store that are out of stock have an "OUT OF STOCK" label in the upper left corner of their images. On the details page of such products, visitors have the option to be notified via the entered email address when the product is back in stock.
Product Prices
The prices in the CatWall online store are stated in Euros (EUR - €) and include 22% VAT. The applicable price for an individual product is the price at the time of order placement. During business operations, product prices may change in accordance with the prices of the materials used to manufacture the final products.
Discount Codes
Occasionally, we offer customers the opportunity to use discount coupons on the sales offer of products that are in stock. Consumers can redeem the discount by entering a valid code before payment, thus reducing the price of the items in the shopping cart. It is not possible to enter the discount code later, after the purchase has been completed and paid for.
Active codes are published on the websitewww.catwall.eu, on social media, or you may receive the code via your email address if you have signed up to receive newsletters. Discount codes are time-limited and valid only for reducing the price of products on sale. The cost of packaging and shipping the products is not reduced by entering a discount code.
In the event that a customer uses a discount code and then cancels this order at their own request (the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason), they are not entitled to reuse the benefit.
When there is no active discount code, products from the sales offer are sold at regular prices. Discounts are not cumulative.
Conditions for using a discount code:
- Select the products and add them to your shopping cart. The order value must be at least €1.00 higher than the value of the discount code. Once you have finished adding products, proceed to the checkout, select the delivery method, enter the delivery address and payment method,
- in in the promotional code entry field, click the "Apply" button and check the change in the prepared order preview.
- The combination of different codes for redeeming benefits in a single purchase is not possible.
- Upon successful activation of the discount code, the discount is automatically deducted from the price of your order. The final price is the amount to be paid.
- The discount code can only be used once.
Free Gift with Purchase
Occasionally, a limited number of customers receive a free product with their purchase.
Once the stock of products intended as a free gift with purchase is depleted, all subsequent orders will be processed without the added free gift. When products intended as free gifts are no longer in stock, we will remove the advertising about them to avoid misleading customers.
Purchase Process
Purchasing is possible for both registered and unregistered users.
The online store offers products that are part of our selection. Visitors can add to the cart and purchase only products that are currently in stock. Products that are currently out of stock have an "OUT OF STOCK" label displayed on their photo, and the "add to cart" button is disabled. It is also possible to directly add products to the cart from the wishlist, if there are any products added there.
When reviewing the shopping cart, users can change the quantity of individual products or delete products from the cart. At this stage, it is also possible to enter a discount code if the user has received one or if one exists and is valid at that time.
After confirming the products in the shopping cart, the user selects the delivery method (GLS Slovenia), the payment method (pro forma invoice or credit card), enters a new or corrects an existing delivery address for the purchased products, and enters a new or corrects an existing billing address. If the user forgot to enter a discount code in the previous step, they can do so again. The final price is displayed, broken down by individual items, which the user pays for the order of the desired products in the shopping cart, along with the delivery cost.
To successfully proceed with the purchase process, the user must check the box agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions of Business and the limitations of liability. After that, the "Continue" button is enabled. The user is then directed to the screen for entering payment card details or, in the case of payment by pro forma invoice, a notification about the submitted order with further instructions is displayed.
The buyer is obliged to check the breakdown of items on the invoice before making the purchase. Later objections will not be considered.
Order Successfully Placed
PAYMENT BY PRO FORMA INVOICE
When a customer chooses to pay by pro forma invoice, the submitted order goes into processing and is shipped to the customer's address only after payment has been received. Received payments are checked only once a day on working days. Unpaid pro forma invoices are automatically canceled within 7 days.
The buyer receives a notification of the successfully placed order at the provided email address. The accuracy of the entered email address is the responsibility of the buyer.
Upon receipt of payment via pro forma invoice, a sales contract is concluded between the buyer and the CatWall online store.
The submitted order goes into processing and is shipped to the customer's address on the same or the next working day after receipt of payment.
PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD
Upon successful submission and payment of the order, a sales contract is concluded between the buyer and the CatWall online store.
The buyer receives a notification of the successfully placed order at the provided email address. The accuracy of the entered email address is the responsibility of the buyer.
When paying by credit card online, please notify us immediately of any order cancellations or changes to the delivery address at the email address [email protected].
The submitted order goes into processing and is shipped to the customer's address on the same or the next working day after receipt of payment.
Order Ready for Dispatch, Tracking
Your paid order is prepared and appropriately packaged by the CatWall online store team. The package is handed over to the GLS General Logistics Systems Slovenia delivery service, logistične storitve d.o.o., which informs the buyer about the acceptance of the shipment and the estimated delivery date.

Payment Methods
The CatWall online store offers the following payment options:
- via pro forma invoice/invoice to the company Gregor Flajs s.p. bank account, IBAN SI56 6100 0001 4736 975, opened at Delavska hranilnica d.d., and
- with credit cards via the Stripe processor (MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, American Express).
The buyer is obliged to check the breakdown of items on the invoice before making the purchase. Later objections will not be considered.
The submitted order will only be processed and shipped to the customer's address after payment has been received based on the offer/pro forma invoice.
When paying by credit card online, please notify us immediately of any order cancellations or changes to the delivery address at the email address [email protected].
Issuing of Invoice
We review received payments once a day on working days. For each received payment, we prepare an invoice. We do not issue invoices for orders that have been successfully submitted but for which payment has not yet been received in the provider's bank account or via direct credit card payment. Unpaid orders are canceled within 7 working days. The customer will be notified of this at the email address provided when placing the order or the email address used for registration in the online store.
The issued invoice shows all the ordered products as well as the cost of packaging and postage. After payment is received, the invoice is sent to the email address provided by the customer during the order process or the email address used for registration in the online store. The accuracy of the entered email address is the responsibility of the buyer.
Upon receipt of the ordered products, a printed invoice is enclosed in the package.
Delivery
The delivery of packages of ordered products is provided by the company GLS General Logistics Systems Slovenia, logistics services d.o.o..
During the delivery process, you will receive notifications from GLS General Logistics Systems Slovenia, logistic services d.o.o. to your email address and the phone number you entered when placing your order in the online store.
The delivery time of ordered products depends on the country to which they are delivered. For deliveries within Slovenia, the delivery time is from 2 to 5 days. For deliveries to other EU countries, this time is from 3-7 days.
Free delivery
Free delivery is only available for purchases and deliveries of products within Slovenia, when the total price of the products exceeds €140.00. For purchases in lower amounts, a flat rate of €5.00 (VAT included) for packaging and postage is charged.
When delivering to other EU countries, delivery is calculated based on the weight of the products in the cart and the zone in which the EU country is located.
Product Returns
We strive for the quality of every single product in our sales program. Despite the control of all materials and finished products, and proper packaging, sometimes things can still go wrong. In such cases, we would like you to contact us so that we can find the best solution together.
For every product return, prior agreement is necessary.
Please notify us about a product return at the email address:[email protected]. Please state the reason for the return – NON-CONFORMITY OF GOODS (material defect) or WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT. Please also attach the appropriately completed product return form, which is available for download at the end of this chapter, and proof of purchase (a copy of the invoice, email confirmation of your order, bank transaction statement to our bank account). We will respond to you within one to two working days.
All packages sent to the provider's address with cash on delivery or where the recipient pays the postage will be rejected and returned to the sender at their expense. Exceptions are only those agreed upon in advance directly with the customer via email.
Damaged Shipments
Damages must be reported immediately (to the delivery person upon delivery) or no later than 7 days after receiving the package.
Visible External Damage
When the delivery person brings a physically damaged package, the recipient can refuse to accept it or check the contents of the package immediately upon delivery. The delivery person, together with the buyer, prepares a damage report during transport.
Damage to the Product Inside the Package
For subsequently discovered damage to the contents of the received package, please notify us immediately at the email address[email protected]and attach photos of the received package, the GLS label, the damaged product, and a description of the damage. We will respond to you within one to two working days.
Please keep all transport packaging, including filling paper, and the products until the end of the complaint procedure.
Right to Withdraw from the Contract Without Giving a Reason
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days from the day of delivery, without giving a reason for such a decision.
Please send the notification of withdrawal from the contract to the email address[email protected]with the subject line WITHDRAWAL FROM CONTRACT. Please also attach the appropriately completed product return form, which is available for download at the end of this chapter, and proof of purchase (a copy of the invoice, email confirmation of your order, bank transaction statement to our bank account). We will respond to you as soon as possible (within one to two working days).
If the consumer has already received the products and then withdraws from the contract, they must send the undamaged products in unchanged quantity and form to the CatWall online store's headquarters within fourteen days of prior notification and agreement via email.
The product that the buyer wishes to return must be unused and undamaged. This means that there should be no visible signs of attempted wall mounting or any other damage or signs of use on the cat furniture. For textile products, they must not have been used, washed, or have any damage or visible signs of use.
Returned products are carefully inspected to ensure they are in exactly the same condition as when they were shipped to the customer. If traces of use or missing components belonging to the product are discovered, only a proportionate share of the purchase price may be refunded. For returned flawless products, the full purchase price paid will be refunded. The deadline for the refund is a maximum of fourteen days after receipt and inspection of the returned products.

In the case of withdrawal from a contract where a discount code or free shipping was used, these funds are considered a discount and will not be returned to the user. Only the amount paid by the user will be refunded.
Non-conformity of goods - material defect
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (Article 71 of ZVPot-1), the buyer can claim non-conformity of goods for a product but must notify us within two months of discovering the non-conformity. The deadline for claiming non-conformity of goods is a maximum of two years from the date of purchase. We are not liable for any non-conformities discovered later.
If you discover a non-conformity of goods and wish to exercise your right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of the purchase date, please notify us additionally and describe the discovered non-conformity in detail. Documentation in the form of photographs or short video recordings is also desirable.
Please send the notification of claiming non-conformity of goods to the email address[email protected]with the subject line NON-CONFORMITY OF GOODS and a detailed explanation of the defect. We will respond to you as soon as possible (within one to two working days) and begin the resolution process.
To claim non-conformity of goods, we require a detailed description of the defect. Documentation in the form of photographs or short video recordings is also desirable. The condition for processing a claim of non-conformity of goods is the submission of:
- the issued invoice, or
- a bank statement of the transfer to our bank account, or
- the received purchase confirmation.
A buyer who notifies us of a non-conformity of goods is entitled to the following in order:
- free repair of the defect or restoration of conformity,
- a proportionate refund of the purchase price in relation to the non-conformity,
- replacement of the product with a new, conforming product,
- refund of the amount paid for the purchase.

What is non-conformity of goods - a material defect?
- when the product does not have the characteristics stated in the product description in the online store
- when the product does not match the model or sample as shown in the photographs in the online store
- when the product does not have the characteristics necessary for its normal use
- when the received product does not contain all the necessary parts for assembly that are listed in the product description in the online store
Verification for Determining Non-Conformity of Goods - Material Defects
We check for non-conformity of goods by comparing them with identical products in our sales offer and the product descriptions in the online store. If we cannot identify the non-conformity, we may ask you for additional information, photographs, or a video.
Limitation of Liability in Case of Various Accidents
CAT FURNITURE
When assembling and using cat furniture that is mounted on the walls in an apartment, it is necessary to strictly follow the enclosed instructions in the received package with the products, which are also available on our website. In case of non-compliance with the instructions, we do not assume responsibility for any damage caused.
We do not carry out the assembly of cat furniture, nor do we check the quality and type of wall onto which the buyer mounts the purchased products. Each product comes with detailed assembly instructions and the necessary screws and anchors. By consistently following the instructions and correctly mounting on a suitable brick or concrete wall, the cat furniture can withstand up to 30 kg of weight. Any minor deviations, such as a different type of wall, an older or damp wall, poorly tightened screws, oversized drilled holes, or the use of different (not supplied) screws and anchors, can affect the reduction of the load-bearing capacity of the structure.
We are not responsible for any damage or damage caused to existing installations in the walls that may be damaged during assembly. It is the buyer's responsibility to know where the installations run in their apartment.
We advise regularly checking the stability of the wall brackets and, if loosening occurs, re-tightening the screws or consulting a furniture assembly professional.
We advise against mounting cat furniture above furniture or other items of higher price or sentimental value. We also advise against mounting above places in the apartment where people spend longer periods, such as above sofas, desks, kitchen tables, etc. In the event of loosening and falling of the cat furniture from the wall to the floor, we are not responsible for any damage or possible consequences.
The furniture is intended only for domestic cats in accordance with the stated load capacity and when mounted on a suitable type of wall in the apartment with the supplied screws and anchors. The furniture is not suitable for children to play with or climb on the wall supports and is STRICTLY PROHIBITED! In the event of any damage due to non-compliance with the handling of the products, we do not assume responsibility for damage and possible consequences.
Cat furniture is made from carefully selected, high-quality, and durable materials. Any replacement of individual parts with non-original ones can affect the reliability of the entire structure. In the event of any damage and resulting consequences, the buyer is obliged to prove the use of correctly installed products on a suitable type of wall and the use of all original (supplied) components.
We also do not assume responsibility in the case of negligent handling of the products.
CAT TOYS
We recommend constant supervision of your cat while playing with toys that are in the permanent or occasional offer of the CatWall online store. The toys are made of high-quality materials, but this does not mean they are indestructible. With active and regular play, the materials may become damaged over time, leading to the ingestion of small parts. The cat owner must regularly check the wear and tear of each individual toy that the cat uses for play. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from possible damage to the materials and the subsequent ingestion of small parts and related consequences.
Cat toys are intended for cats only and are not suitable for use as children's toys.
CAT BEDS
We recommend occasional supervision of a cat that regularly uses cat beds offered permanently or occasionally in the CatWall online store. Cat beds are made of high-quality materials, but this does not mean they are indestructible. After prolonged regular use or more intense biting and scratching of the bed, the materials may become damaged, potentially leading to the ingestion of small parts. The cat owner must regularly check the wear and tear of the bed that the cat uses. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from possible damage to the materials and the subsequent ingestion of small parts and related consequences.
Cat beds are intended for cats only and are not suitable for use as children's beds.
Complaints and Disputes
The CatWall online store team will strive to fulfill its mission to the best of its ability. In case of a complaint, please forward it to the email address [email protected] with the subject line COMPLAINT, and we will respond to you as soon as possible (within one or two working days).
We are aware that in the event of a judicial resolution, a consumer dispute is sensible only in rare cases due to high costs, which is why we strive to resolve any disputes amicably.
The process of resolving your complaint is confidential.
Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes
In accordance with legal regulations, Gregor Flajs s.p. (CatWall online store) does not recognize any provider of out-of-court consumer dispute resolution as competent for resolving a consumer dispute that a consumer could initiate in accordance with the Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes Act.
CatWall online store is a provider of goods and enables online shopping in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, therefore, in the general terms and conditions of business, we publish a link to the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform: Online platform for resolving consumer disputes.
This regulation arises from the Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes Act, Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on 1 online dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC.
